Listed below is some important advice for all current and prospective clients of The Krystal Unicorn.
Disclaimer
Complementary and Holistic Therapies do not claim to ‘cure’, although many people do find them greatly beneficial. Benefits from such therapies, however, are not guaranteed. The Krystal Unicorn offers treatments in good faith and clients receive them of their own free will.
Cancellation Policy
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not able to keep your appointment. A minimum of 24 hours notice must be given otherwise we reserve the right to issue a charge of 100%treatment value. A text reminer for you appointment is available upon request - please ask for details. Workshop deposits are non-refundable and must be paid at least 7 days in advance otherwise your reservation cannot be guarenteed. A £20 non-refundable deposit is required when booking a Pamper Party, which will be deducted from total. Overall cost must be paid in full 7 days prior to Pamper Party.
Payment
We only accept cash or cheques for treatments and purchases made on the premises and at events. We accept all major debit and credit cards for purchases made online. Salon Wish gift vouchers accepted at The Krystal Unicorn.
Health Conditions
It is required, by law, that all clients who partake of holistic therapies, must fill in a client consultation form before commencement of treatment. All health issues such as medication, illnesses and allergies must be declared on this form as treatment may need to be adapted, GP permission sort or, in extreme cases, treatment may be refused. Failure to declare any health issues or falsifying information on consultation form will result in refusal of further treatment.
Alcohol
Please be aware that the consumption of alcohol should be avoided 24 hours before and after receiving all holistic therapy treatments, as alcohol can affect the effect of the treatments. All clients must ensure that they drink plenty of water, fruit juice and/or herbal teas, especially after a treatment has been received.
Children and Young Adults Between the Ages of 6 and 18
We are pleased to accept bookings for children between the ages of 6 and 18. All minors must be accompanied by either a parent or guardian throughout the duration of the treatment. Parent or guardian will be required to sign their child's consultation form prior to commencing treatment.
