What is Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is an ancient form of healing which dates back to 18,000BCE. It is the application of essential oils in order to promote both physical and emotional wellbeing

The combination of essential oils and carrier oils (tailored to the individuals needs) with therapeutic massage, increases the bodies natural ability for self-healing.

Aromatherapy can also be very beneficial when used, for example, as hand creams, smelling salts, in the bath and in an oil burner.

Essential oils can also be used around the home as vacuum fresh and natural cleaners.

Workshop Information

On this one day workshop (two mornings if weekend) you will have the opportunity to:

· Understand the origins of Aromatherapy

· Experience 12 Essential oils

· Experience 6 Carrier oils

· Learn how to Blend & Dilute oils for use in burners, the bath, hand creams etc

· Make a product to take home

· Learn and perform Basic Massage Techniques

Workshop times - 9am-4pm weekdays, 9am-12.30pm Sat &Sun
